Terms of service
These terms cover your use of Nightcopy, a service that copies data from your Airtable workspace to storage you own. Nightcopy ("we") provides this service. By creating an account or paying for a plan you agree to these terms.
Early access
Nightcopy is in early access. Joining the waitlist costs nothing and commits you to nothing. We will email you before your first backup can run, and nothing is charged before then.
What the service does
- Reads your Airtable bases with a read-only personal access token that you create and can revoke at any time.
- Writes copies of your records, schema and attachments to an S3-compatible bucket that you own and control.
- Checks the number of records copied against the number Airtable reports, and emails you when they don't match or a run fails.
We work hard to make every backup complete and correct, but we cannot guarantee that every run succeeds. Airtable's API, your bucket, or the network can fail. The manifest written with each run tells you exactly what was copied; check it before you rely on a backup.
Your responsibilities
- You must have the right to copy the data in the workspaces you connect.
- You are responsible for your bucket: its cost, its access controls, and how long you keep the files.
- Keep your account email current so failure alerts reach you.
Your data
Your data stays yours. We process it only to run your backups, as described in the privacy policy. We never sell it and never use it to train models.
Plans and billing
Plans are billed monthly in advance at the price shown when you subscribe. Payments are processed by our payment provider, which acts as the reseller and merchant of record and may handle sales tax. If you hold a founding price, it stays the same for as long as your subscription stays active.
You can cancel at any time. Your plan runs until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are covered by the refund policy.
Changes and ending the service
We may change these terms. We will email you at least 30 days before a change that affects your plan or price. If we ever shut Nightcopy down, we will give you at least 30 days' notice; the backups already in your bucket remain yours and need nothing from us to open.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
