Privacy policy
This policy explains what Nightcopy collects and why. This policy applies to nightcopy.app and the Nightcopy service.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your email address, the plan you picked, the page you signed up from, the time, and your country as reported by our hosting provider.
- Account: your email address and billing status. Card details go to our payment provider and never reach us.
- Connection details: your Airtable personal access token and your bucket credentials, stored encrypted.
- Run records: for each backup, the bases and tables, record and attachment counts, timing, and any errors.
Your Airtable data
During a backup your records and attachments pass through our servers on their way to your bucket. We do not keep them after the run finishes. We keep only the run records listed above, so we can tell you when something changes or fails.
How we use it
- To run your backups and email you about them.
- To tell waitlist members when the service opens.
- To bill you and meet legal and tax obligations.
We don't sell personal data, don't run advertising trackers, and don't use your data to train models.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and the waitlist.
- Our payment provider, for billing.
- Our server and email providers, to run backups and send alerts.
How long we keep it
Waitlist emails are kept until you ask us to remove them or the waitlist closes. Account data is kept while your account is open and deleted within 30 days of closing it, except billing records the law requires us to keep.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to hello@nightcopy.app. You can revoke our Airtable access yourself in Airtable's token settings.
